To live is Christ is to have restored glory and honor, dominion and authority through Christ. But mostly it is to have a restored relationship with God, the God who is mindful of us and cares for us, just as he does the man Jesus.

To live is Christ means no more fear of what man may do to us (or say about us). Jesus is our refuge of peace that allows us to receive criticism and look at it honestly, without defending, and without condemnation.
Now, to live is Christ, has left us free from the fear of death’s great silencing. Free to weep in faith. Free to flood the bed with tears of the hope of heaven. Free to pray to a God who always accepts our brokenness. For he was broken for us.
To live is Christ means living each day under this sure defense. And it means joining in praise with all who take refuge in him.
