To live is Christ is to come and pray boldly before the throne of grace. Never pleading for the unknown but claiming the promises of Christ in us.
To live is Christ is to live in this dual knowledge of God’s avenging and atoning. Christ alone accomplishes both. Where does this leave the Christian? But we your people, the sheep of your pasture, will give thanks to you forever; from generation to generation we will recount your praise.
To live is Christ is to remember that God does not remember. He does not count our sin against us. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus! And yet there is a love that lowers us further still until all that remains is the love of Christ.
To live is Christ embraces the eternal grace of God, the calling of his people to holiness, not because of our works, but in spite of them. The more we can embrace this great grace the more we will allow ourselves to be guided by his heart and his hand.
