To live is Christ is to know this great sign, this great power toward us who believe. The resurrection power that lives in us, allowing us to self-examine in times of trouble, rather than beg for a change of situation.
Like Jesus have your supplications given way to loud cries and tears before God? Such grieving is obedience. It is son-ship. It is to live is Christ.
To live is Christ is to be the friend of the Trinity. Everything God allows into our life will prove to be the loving and faithful work of our True Friend for our well-being.
Zerubbabel had a choice to make in his waiting. Continue to live in exile in Babylon, or do the hard work of helping others worship the Lord. Zerubbabel made the right choice. How? Because he heard the promise of God, he knew the purpose of God, and he trusted the power of God. The power of God’s grace.
“To live is Christ” means we have the mighty rushing wind of God’s Spirit in us.
