“To live is Christ” is possible only when we receive the good news of what Jesus has done for all of us poor and powerless on his cross. Why not turn to him today in faith and find the freedom of his unconditional love and grace?

November 1, 2020. Day 306: As for the Lord.
“To live is Christ” has radically changed who we are, and at the same time radically allows us to stay as we are. We no longer need to fantasize about escaping our circumstances. We can choose to love, respect, and serve Christ by loving, respecting, and serving those that God has placed in front of us. All to the glory of God.
August 21, 2020. Day 234: I am not ashamed of the gospel.
“To live is Christ” means that you have been given the righteousness of Christ. His holiness. His standing. His acceptance. His perfection. His belonging. His worthiness. Now our weakness is no longer shaming.
June 28, 2020. Day 180: I died to the law, so that I might live to God.
“To live is Christ” is therefore much, much, more than self-denial or the “imitation of Christ.” It is a whole new identity, a new reality a new nature. It’s a whole new life and a whole new way to live. Alive through death. Living by dying.
June 18, 2020. Day 170: We were ready to share the gospel of God but also our own selves.
“To live is Christ” has made you a giver. A sharer of the good news of God and of your own self. May God grant us his grace today as we seek to share life with others, both pointing them to Christ and being Christ to them in these difficult days.
May 2, 2020. Day 123: Repent and believe in the gospel.
“To live is Christ” is life in the kingdom of God that only comes through repentance and belief. And that is good news! No more trying to figure out the Christian life. No more “just tell me what to do.” Instead, just tell me what Christ has already done. That’s all we need to know.
