“To live is Christ” means trusting the reality of your fire proof life. And as you trust Christ’s life more and more, your faith will prove to the world the grace and faithfulness of God in Christ.

Do you want to have more faith? Then look at Christ more and your faith less. Turn your eyes upon Jesus. See his holiness colliding with your sin on the cross. Keep looking. Never stop. Move your gaze from yourself to the grace displayed on that pole. Now your living by faith. Now “to live is Christ.”

The cruciform life is primarily this – entrusting our lives to him who judges justly. It is Jesus’ unbroken trust in God on the cross that saved us. And now that trust in God is the gift of our salvation. Trusting God’s justice and mercy. Trusting his grace and love. Trusting that “to live is Christ.”
