Only our union with Christ can provide the hope needed for this kind of power. Resurrection power. The power of “to live is Christ.”

“To live is Christ” is to feast on the Bread of Life. The life of Jesus broken and poured out for us on the cross.

“To live is Christ” is a life of total dependence upon Christ. When there’s nothing left to earn, and nothing left to achieve, we are left with the beauty of simply trusting our Savior Jesus.

“To live is Christ” means that we have been much more than “born again.” We have been born from above.

“To live is Christ” is to seek God’s kingdom and to find it in your union with Christ. Put anything else above this and you’ll lose it all. But place Christ and his free grace first, and all these things will be added unto you.
