“To live is Christ” means that God’s glorious grace is living in us. It is not just an external principle to follow. It is a life to be received. It is everything.
Learning to live by the indwelling life of Christ.
“To live is Christ” means that God’s glorious grace is living in us. It is not just an external principle to follow. It is a life to be received. It is everything.
“To live is Christ” means that you already have EVERY spiritual blessing. YOU CANNOT BE MORE BLESSED THAN YOU ALREADY ARE. This is the good news. Now we can live life as Christ does – not to earn a blessing, but from being blessed. There’s a huge difference. One will destroy you, the other will give you wings to fly.
“To live is Christ” means you have already won. So stand. Stand and look out over your victory in Jesus. Stand in God’s armor knowing that his promises are true and his love for you is never failing. You can live in victory today. Stop fighting for it and stand upon it instead.
“To live is Christ” is to live each day in this wisdom, this fear of the Lord, the promise of the rule of Christ. It is to walk fully aware that these days are evil, but that Christ will lead us through by the Spirit. And so we live carefully and yet fully alive. Alive in Christ our Savior and King.
“To live is Christ” is life lived out as light that first exposes, then makes visible, then transforms into more light. Therefore, we are not light so that we can avoid darkness. We are light so that we can dispel darkness while spreading God’s light. We don’t “hide our light under a bushel.” NO! We walk as children of light.
“To live is Christ” means you are loved more dearly and deeply than you could ever imagine. Now, in Christ, you have nothing to lose and nothing to gain. By faith you’ve received the sacrificial love of Christ, now by faith you can walk in that same love. And that smells good to God.
