To live is Christ moves us from wicked, to poor, to rescued. How? By the gracious salvation of the Lord through Jesus Christ. May we remember our place and recount the praises of God today in the gates of Zion.

To live is Christ is to trust in the just reign of Christ and the defeat of our spiritual enemies by his wonderful deed on the cross. Sing praises! Give thanks! And run into his stronghold.

To live is Christ is to have restored glory and honor, dominion and authority through Christ. But mostly it is to have a restored relationship with God, the God who is mindful of us and cares for us, just as he does the man Jesus.

To live is Christ is to always trust God’s final justice, but to do so with great humility, knowing that we too deserved the punishment of the cross.
