“To live is Christ” is to trust in your position in grace alone. Your full forgiveness. Your freedom from the power and consequence of sin. Your resurrection unto eternal life. It is to rest in the freedom of his unconditional love. A resting that will bring true obedience as the impulse of his love.
“To live is Christ” is this daily process of knowing, considering, and presenting. Knowing you are dead to sin. Considering yourself dead to sin and alive to God in Jesus. And then presenting your actions to God as his own actions in the world.
“To live is Christ” is the daily, moment by moment, discipline of considering who you really are. You are dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. This is your new reality.
