At every “stage” of Christian growth, what we need most is always Jesus. His love. His forgiveness. His assurance. His acceptance. And this ever present need for grace is “to live is Christ.”
Today will allow the same faith in the same grace that justified to also sanctify you? Today will your life abound in thanksgiving to God for his saving love in Jesus his Son? Today will you “to live is Christ.”
“To live is Christ” is to live each day in this wisdom, this fear of the Lord, the promise of the rule of Christ. It is to walk fully aware that these days are evil, but that Christ will lead us through by the Spirit. And so we live carefully and yet fully alive. Alive in Christ our Savior and King.
“To live is Christ” is life lived out as light that first exposes, then makes visible, then transforms into more light. Therefore, we are not light so that we can avoid darkness. We are light so that we can dispel darkness while spreading God’s light. We don’t “hide our light under a bushel.” NO! We walk as children of light.
