“To live is Christ” means we can trust the gentle and compassionate sin removal process of our Lamb. As we behold the Lamb’s sacrifice for us on the cross, our hearts are drawn in love and grace to him as all else fades away.

April 28, 2020. Day 119: The law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
“To live is Christ” gives us a whole new operating system of grace. Will we boot up the old deadly system of law keeping today, or will we trust the power and ease of use of living from the indwelling life of the eternal Son of God?
April 27, 2020. Day 118: Full of grace and truth.
“To live is Christ” has filled us with the upside down glory of God’s grace and truth. The grace and truth of the glorious cross of Christ. Where dying is living, and losing is winning.
April 26, 2020. Day 117: We have seen his glory.
In “to live is Christ” we have not only seen the glory of God, but we have received the glory of God (John 1:12), his life of grace and truth, into our own lives. The search is over. In Jesus we no longer have to settle for lesser glories, because the greatest glory, the glory of the love of the Trinity, is ours in him.
April 25, 2020. Day 116: God with us.
“To live is Christ.” The end of all our confusion. The answer to all our questions. The fulfillment of God with us.
April 24, 2020. Day 115: The Holy Spirit will come upon you.
“To live is Christ” means we have the mighty rushing wind of God’s Spirit in us. But the incarnation tells us that that mighty whirlwind is now the simple breath of a baby. The Spirit that separated seas and rushed in and out of temples is now swaddled in the manger of our hearts. God’s presence now found in the welcoming grace of baby. The power of our union with Christ now found in the humble faith of a child.
