“To live is Christ” is to feast on the Bread of Life. The life of Jesus broken and poured out for us on the cross.
Look to your union with Christ and know that you will never be forgotten. Trust the death of Christ with all your heart and know that “to live is Christ.”
Do you question God’s love for you today? Like the Teacher, are you asking if the suffering that we all face each day is God’s hatred or God’s love?
“To live is Christ” means nothing can ever separate us from the love of God in Christ. No illness. No loss. No isolation. No affliction. Nothing in life or death. The path to God is clear. And when every obstacle is removed, there is nothing left to fear, and only trust remains.
“To live is Christ” is to feast on the Bread of Life. The life of Jesus poured out and broken for us on the cross. The complete and eternal work of God for us, and now in us, by the indwelling life of Christ.
“To live is Christ” is a life of total dependence upon Christ. When there’s nothing left to earn, and nothing left to achieve, we are left with the beauty of simply trusting our Savior Jesus.
