“To live is Christ” means never, ever, ever, decreasing in our need for grace.

Learning to live by the indwelling life of Christ.
“To live is Christ” means never, ever, ever, decreasing in our need for grace.
Your example of faith in Jesus might just carry someone further along into “to live is Christ.”
At every “stage” of Christian growth, what we need most is always Jesus. His love. His forgiveness. His assurance. His acceptance. And this ever present need for grace is “to live is Christ.”
“To live is Christ” is to live daily in this ongoing pattern of put off and put on. We have already put off the old man and put on the new man once and for all. Now we can daily put off the dead man’s clothes and put on the new clothes of Christ and his grace.
“To live is Christ” is to be forever in Christ, while day by day growing up into Christ our Head. It is to freely receive his truth and love, and then to build up the body of Christ with that same truth and love until we all attain to the fullness of Christ.
“To live is Christ” is this daily process of knowing, considering, and presenting. Knowing you are dead to sin. Considering yourself dead to sin and alive to God in Jesus. And then presenting your actions to God as his own actions in the world.
