There is no more need to control your own life. No need to figure it all out. No need to fight for your agenda. Just worship. Just love. Just “to live is Christ.”

TLIC Daily. Day 47. February 16: The Lord raised up a deliverer.
“To live is Christ” makes our confession and repentance acts of faith in our death with Christ and our resurrection with Christ to his indwelling righteous life.
TLIC Daily. Day 46. February 15: Witness against yourselves.
“To live is Christ” means trusting in Christ’s life alone as our witness. Never our own commitment level or words of promise. These will always testify against us. Only Jesus and his righteousness will bear witness for us on the day of judgment. May he be the only witness we call to the stand today and every day until he calls us home.
December 17, 2020. Day 352: God’s seed abides in him.
If you can see yourself as God’s child, born of God, participating in his own nature, then, you might just find that your doing has begun to match your being. You might just find that your “to live” looks like it “is Christ.”
November 7, 2020. Day 312: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.
The growing and progressing Christian knows that life only comes out of death and defeat. Trusting the Spirit to minister the death of the old and the life of the new in us as we choose more and more to trust in “to live is Christ.”
August 26, 2020. Day 239: Our old self was crucified with him.
“To live is Christ” means your sin has already once and for all time been dealt with by the cross. Do you know this? Do you believe this? Once you do, you can start the painful process of crucifying the flesh and its selfish desires by faith in God’s saving grace.
