He has taught us his goodness and lovingkindness in the appearing of Christ and the abiding of Christ in us. He has taught us “to live is Christ.”
Learning to live by the indwelling life of Christ.
He has taught us his goodness and lovingkindness in the appearing of Christ and the abiding of Christ in us. He has taught us “to live is Christ.”
You are being transformed into Christ. How do I know? Because it is God’s good pleasure that “to live is Christ” be our life. And God always gets what he wants in the end.
When you remember to trust what God is doing IN YOU right now, by his grace, even when it looks like your moving backwards, then you will begin to enjoy the confident assurance of God’s salvation in you. The assurance of “to live is Christ.”
Union with Christ is a seal. A possession. An unbreakable presence. God himself is the guarantee of our salvation. Not a creed and not a deed.
“To live is Christ” means that God is for us, and nothing against us will stand. How do we know? Because Christ died for us and united his life to ours.
“To live is Christ” is the constant realization that I never did earn it, I never will earn it, and I am not currently earning it. My sins are too many. But praise God, his mercy is more.
