God, our place is with you. God return for your people. Come quickly Lord Jesus, amen.
Learning to live by the indwelling life of Christ.
God, our place is with you. God return for your people. Come quickly Lord Jesus, amen.
“To live is Christ” means any time you’re feeling like a pile of lifeless dry bones, overwhelmed or underwhelmed, you can hear the word of the Lord. You can hear the prophet speak to your heart. Thus says the Lord, I HAVE put my Spirit in you and you ARE alive. Alive in Christ.
“To live is Christ” means you can live fearlessly. You can love recklessly. You can give all of yourself away today. Knowing that all the earth is yours in Christ and all will be restored in his presence.
He is not the living among the dead. He is the living among the living – us! May we live in this new year as though we actually have the risen Christ in us. May we live from his grace and love each day as we await the final advent of our risen Lord and Savior.
“To live is Christ” is to swallow evil. No more running. No more hiding. No more revenge. Because death, evil, and suffering can no longer defeat us, we can now face them with the resurrection power of Christ. Transforming them into his life and love, his goodness and service.
“To live is Christ” makes you a living apocalypse. We are God’s walking and talking future. Judged. Resurrected. New. The indwelling Spirit is our internal proof that God has already won. Christ reigns in our spirits and is enthroned in our hearts. And the day is coming when we will reign eternally with Jesus at the right hand of God. To God be the glory!
