To live is Christ is to attend to these things. To be aware of and meditate upon every spiritual blessing in Christ. To be glad in your present hope and future home.

To live is Christ means recognizing just how little control you have over your life. Just as you have no control over hurricanes, winds, and waves, you also have no ability to tame the world around you. But it also means thanking the Lord for his steadfast love that indwells your heart, bringing peace with every wave.
TLIC Psalms. October 8. Fools Through Their Sinful Ways.
Healing may be long and hard, but to live is Christ means that the journey is not only possible, but it has already been accomplished by Christ our Savior so that even if we don’t find complete healing from our sin’s consequences on this side of the grave, we will definitely find it on the other side.
TLIC Psalms. October 7. He Delivered Them.
To live is Christ is to experience this freedom of Christ’s bondage breaking love and grace. He came to set the captive free. Those held captive by the fear of dying and the fear of truly living.

But if he is all these things (and more), and he is, then may the redeemed of the Lord say so. That’s to live is Christ – to not only live in the redeemed state, but to declare our redemption to the world around us. Praise the Lord!

To live is Christ is always this mixture of repentance and rejoicing, penitence and praise. Yes, they can and must live together in our prayer life. We must constantly remember who we would be without Christ and who we are with him.
