Speak and act like the child of mercy that you are. That’s “to live is Christ.”

Learning to live by the indwelling life of Christ.
Speak and act like the child of mercy that you are. That’s “to live is Christ.”
“To live is Christ” means that now Christ’s loving anger is fueling our love for others. Even our Ninevehs.
“To live is Christ” means that now this mercy, this life, this hope, lives in us. Christ’s life in us is the great faithfulness of God. Christ’s indwelling love is the mercy we receive afresh each day.
By our death and resurrection with Christ we know that we are alive to God’s love. Now our union with Christ, and his love, allows us to renew our minds day after day. Slowly but surely. Pursuing a deeper affection for Christ and his saints. Presenting ourselves as living sacrifices of love and mercy. This is the will of God. This is “to live is Christ.”
Before you do anything else behold the mercy of God. And then speak and act like the child of mercy that you are. That’s “to live is Christ.”
Because we are one with Christ and Christ is one with humanity, we can draw near to God with all the confidence in the world, knowing that we will only be met with grace and mercy. Never judgment or condemnation. Never rejection or retaliation. Only the very real active help in time of need of knowing that our salvation is secure, our future is with God, and our present is “to live is Christ.”
