Christ’s victory over darkness, over hopelessness and meaninglessness, by the power of the resurrection serves as THE light for the whole world.
Learning to live by the indwelling life of Christ.
Christ’s victory over darkness, over hopelessness and meaninglessness, by the power of the resurrection serves as THE light for the whole world.
Reflect the light and glory of our Suffering Servant Jesus to all you can in these darkest of times. Pour out his love like a fountain. Forgive. Be patient and long suffering. Listen more than you talk. Show kindness in small ways. Share. Pray. And embrace “to live is Christ.”
“To live is Christ” is life lived out as light that first exposes, then makes visible, then transforms into more light. Therefore we are not light so that we can avoid darkness. We are light so that we can dispel darkness while spreading God’s light. We don’t “hide our light under a bushel.” NO! We walk as children of light.
“To live is Christ” is to have an illuminated heart by the indwelling glory of God. In Christ, we can truly know our God.
Every question has been answered, and the answer is Jesus. The dark day of his cross has broken through all the darkness in us with the burning light of the great I Am. The light and life of “to live is Christ.”
Now there is shining into our hearts an eternal hope in his eternal goodness and grace. Now there is the light of love.
