“To live is Christ” is bold belonging. It is undeserved acceptance. And there’s nothing better in this world than that.

Learning to live by the indwelling life of Christ.
“To live is Christ” is bold belonging. It is undeserved acceptance. And there’s nothing better in this world than that.
“To live is Christ” has moved you from Mount Sinai to Mount Zion! Today, will you worship God in the beauty of his glory and grace with all the saints and angels, trusting in Jesus, our great mediator, alone? Or will you run back to the terror of the law?
Now, in Christ, God’s first word to us is always grace. And his second word to us is faith. “I love you…so trust me…” “Christ is alive in you…so to live is Christ.”
“To live is Christ” allows us to take a deeply honest look at our own wretched failure as law keepers. Then and only then can we place our hope in the one who will deliver us from the body of death.
“To live is Christ” means that his life and his love now control us. The new way of the Spirit makes knowing God intimately both our greatest good and our greatest desire in life.
“To live is Christ” is therefore much, much, more than self-denial or the “imitation of Christ.” It is a whole new identity, a new reality, a new nature. It’s a whole new life and a whole new way to live. Alive through death. Living by dying.
