To live is Christ empowers an ever deepening relationship with God through union with Christ. Christ in us wrestling with our selfish flesh until we cry out for his gracious blessing to never let us go.

This Advent season, in the midst of all the hustle and bustle of Christmas, lay your head on the rock of Bethel and hear God say, I am with you. I’ll never leave you. And I will bring you home.
“To live is Christ” is to live in the blessing of the wound of Christ. The wound he took for us, and the wound he gives to us. The wound that comes when our selfish pride is finally replaced with the blessing of living in complete submission to God.
Christ has placed us on the ladder of his own life. A life we can now live for his glory as we ascend and descend, bringing heaven to earth through “to live is Christ.”
