“To live is Christ” is hope, faith, and love, with love as the end of all things. Our hope and faith in Christ become Christ’s love in us and through us. And this is the only thing that counts.

Are you experiencing the power of Christ by the Holy Spirit? Are you patient in hope, worshiping from faith, and laboring in love for others? Only the gospel can empower such living. Only our union with Christ can provide the hope needed for this kind of power. Resurrection power. The power of “to live is Christ.”
April 18, 2020. Day 109: He is coming says the Lord of hosts.
“To live is Christ” is to be hope realized. We are what Israel waited 400 years to be – the treasured possession of the Lord. And at the second coming of Christ we will be spared by God because of the Son who served him. And so today may we be the living temple of the Lord God. And through our lives may others see THE Righteous Servant of the Lord. Jesus our Savior.
April 17, 2020. Day 108: The latter glory shall be greater than the former.
“To live is Christ” is to fear not. It is to be strong. It is to keep working for the Lord is with you. Because the latter glory will be greater than the former glory.
April 5, 2020. Day 96: Dry bones.
“To live is Christ” means you are never too far gone. Even when you were dead in your trespasses and sins God made you alive in Christ. And that same life is still quickening you today and every day. Your dry bones are becoming flesh. God is using you wherever you are. His love and grace are ready to flow through you, as you hear and believe his word spoken over you.
April 3, 2020. Day 94: Great is your faithfulness.
“To live is Christ” means that now this mercy, this life, this hope, lives in us. Christ’s life in us is the great faithfulness of God. Christ’s indwelling love is the mercy we receive afresh each day.
