The more and more you believe that you have freely and graciously been given everything you need for life and godliness by your Savior King you will, quite naturally, be determined to add these gifts on to your life by faith in Christ.

Learning to live by the indwelling life of Christ.
The more and more you believe that you have freely and graciously been given everything you need for life and godliness by your Savior King you will, quite naturally, be determined to add these gifts on to your life by faith in Christ.
But when Grace appears in the flesh. When Grace is the lover of your soul. When Grace gives himself for us to redeem us. When Grace makes you his own precious possession. When Grace not only forgives you, but also places you into himself. Into his own life. His own glory. His own goodness. Then your heart’s desires have been trained to denounce all that would break his heart. Then you have been shown grace as godliness. Then you have been taught “to live is Christ.”
“To live is Christ means that the more we look at his appearing, the more we wait for his glorious return, the more we place our faith in his life rather than our own life, the more we will be transformed into his likeness.
When you have been shown grace as godliness, then you have been taught “to live is Christ.”
Now we have found the real joy of godliness + contentment. The peace of trusting our Heavenly Father in all things and allowing our lives to reflect his own. The security of needing nothing while having everything. Now we can live every day in the great gain of “to live is Christ.”
