Now, our spirit of fear is being gradually replaced with the Spirit of Jesus. Living in fear is being replaced with “to live is Christ.”
“To live is Christ means nothing can ever separate us from the love of God in Christ. No virus. No loss. No isolation. No affliction. Nothing in life or death. The path to God is clear. And when every obstacle is removed, there is nothing left to fear, and only trust remains.
“To live is Christ means fearless living is possible. As “Elijah’s” we have no fear in death, for we will be immediately swept up into the presence of God. And as “Elisha’s” we have no fear in life, for we live from the double portion of the Spirit, the life of Jesus himself.
No matter what anyone throws at you, you can still stand. Nothing in life can separate you from God’s love. Nothing in life can steal your treasure. Nothing in life can take your life. Your life is hidden with Christ in God. That’s “to live is Christ,” and “to live is Christ” is to live in courage.
“To live is Christ” means no more fear of losing control and no more fear of being forsaken. And no more going back to Egypt. Jesus is God’s “perfect love that casts out all fear.” Look forward to him. Run to his open arms. Fix your eyes ahead on Christ, not backwards on Egypt.
