May to live is Christ be our reminder each day of what we deserve as opposed to what we received in him.
To live is Christ is to remember again and again the dividing work of Christ at the cross. Dividing us from our sea of sin, and opening Christ’s river of living water for our soul.
To live is Christ is to follow Christ into the baptism of the cross, where the “I” can become “not I, but Christ.”
To live is Christ is to trust the pattern of God’s sanctification grace. Through flood and through fire, but never alone. Into abundance, but never by our own doing. Christ is always with us. He knows the way through the sea. Fix your eyes on him and simply follow.
