To live is Christ trusts the God of creation who sustains all things not just logically, but lovingly. It is to move through worry to trust, through doubt to faith, knowing that in Christ God cares for you as much as he does his Son, Jesus.
To live is Christ means trusting our union with the One who controls all chaos and evil today, and the One who will one day remove all chaos and evil from life’s equation. Until then trust that he will always bring you to shore.
To live is Christ is to not only be like Christ, but it is to also recognize how we will never be like Christ. We will never be creator, sustainer, God anointed by God. Jesus is the only human that can also claim such divinity. He alone bridges God and man, and praise God that bridge will never be burned.
To live is Christ is to live in future hope, a hope we do not yet see. Nature is subject to futility today, as are we. But not forever. A day is coming when we will both lead and join nature in the victory chorus of Christ our King.
