What grace! He comes to us – again. We don’t climb up to him. He returns to restore not only our spiritual relationship to God, but also our physical relationship to God. This is the fullness of God’s salvation.

An Angelic Advent. Day 27: Behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel.
He is not the living among the dead. He is the living among the living – us! May we live in this new year as though we actually have the risen Christ in us. May we live from his grace and love each day as we await the final advent of our risen Lord and Savior.
An Angelic Advent. Day 26: Then the Devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down.”
The question for you and me in our dark season of advent is, do we see our life as primarily testing the love of God or as revealing the love of God? Your answer here determines how you will live.
An Angelic Advent. Day 25: When they saw the star they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.
You don’t need a star or an angel (or whatever it was) to guide you today. You have something, someone, much better. You have the indwelling life of Christ guiding your heart.
An Angelic Advent. Day 24: And an angel of the Lord appeared to them.
So hear the invitation of God today to go and find the Christ child. The Prince of Peace. The one who takes all our sins and all our sorrows and turns them into everything good. The one that will take us to be with him forever. Run to him. Embrace him and embrace your alien God.
An Angelic Advent. Day 23: But as he considered these things, behold an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream.
When we know why we exist, we then know how to exist. When we know what happens when we die, we then know how to live. When we know that God is with us, we then know how to be with others.
