If and when we get to the place of seeing our lives in Christ as great gain, then we can be satisfied. Then we will be finally be content.

Learning to live by the indwelling life of Christ.
If and when we get to the place of seeing our lives in Christ as great gain, then we can be satisfied. Then we will be finally be content.
Your example of faith in Jesus might just carry someone further along into “to live is Christ.”
What will this eternal life look like today in this fallen world? Might it look like unconditional love and mercy for others? Maybe courage in difficult times? Patience in suffering? Burden bearing? The melting away of bitterness and anger? Might it look like “to live is Christ?”
“To live is Christ” means no more being held hostage by our doubts of God’s love. The man Christ Jesus has opened the way to the Father forever.
Now, in Christ, God’s first word to us is always grace. And his second word to us is faith. “I love you…so trust me…” “Christ is alive in you…so to live is Christ.”
Now we have found the real joy of godliness + contentment. The peace of trusting our Heavenly Father in all things and allowing our lives to reflect his own. The security of needing nothing while having everything. Now we can live every day in the great gain of “to live is Christ.”
