“To live is Christ” means our life now has ultimate meaning, and that meaning is Jesus Christ and his glory forever displayed in our love. Now everything we do under the sun, no matter how big or how small, has eternal significance.
March 16, 2020. Day 76: A way that leads to death.
“To live is Christ” may not always appear to be right, but the way of Christ will always lead to life. Not an easy life, but a life of love, a life of honor, a life of real joy and peace. Beware, all other ways will only lead to death.
March 15, 2020. Day 75: Keep your heart with all vigilance.
“To live is Christ” means that your heart is protected. It is being kept with all the vigilance of the Trinity. Now you can keep your heart with all the vigilance of the life of Christ inside of you. And you can let the streams of his love and grace pour out from the well of life that has been poured into you.
March 14, 2020. Day 74: Trust in the LORD with all your heart.
“To live is Christ means nothing can ever separate us from the love of God in Christ. No virus. No loss. No isolation. No affliction. Nothing in life or death. The path to God is clear. And when every obstacle is removed, there is nothing left to fear, and only trust remains.
March 13, 2020. Day 73: She is a tree of life.
“To live is Christ” means that Christ is our wisdom. He is our Tree of Life. Take. Eat. Stop trying to manufacture wisdom and instead receive it. Receive Christ’s sacrificial love as your response to all of life. Take hold of him, live each day through dying, and be called blessed.
March 12, 2020. Day 72: Praise the LORD!
“To live is Christ” gives us the greatest reason ever to praise God and it gives us the grace we need when we can’t find the joy it takes praise God. Now in Christ our praise is complete even when our praise falls short, for Christ is praising in our place. Jesus will sing praises as long as he lives. In him may we find the fullness of joy needed to join in his life giving praise.
