“To live is Christ” is to be blessed with the infinite love of God in Christ, and then to walk in that love. To be rooted and grounded in Christ’s love, and to move and live and have our being in Christ’s love. There’s no better place to live.
September 26, 2020. Day 270: That Christ may dwell in your hearts.
“To live is Christ” means you have all of Christ. But you may not be experiencing all of Christ all of the time (in fact most likely you’re not). But that is our prayer. A prayer for the Spirit to give us strength in the inner man as we allow Christ to make himself at home in our inner man. Jesus, make yourself at home in us.
September 25, 2020. Day 269: A holy temple in the Lord.
“To live is Christ” is to be God’s temple. His Holy of Holies. The inner sanctuary where God sits enthroned in our hearts. The church today is the reality of all that an earthly temple could only shadow. Together in Christ we are the meeting place of God and man. He is our God and we are his people to the praise of his glory.
September 24, 2020. Day 268: Grace…Faith…Works.
“To live is Christ” is to live by grace through faith unto good works. In that order. Any other way is not the life of Christ in us.
September 23, 2020. Day 267: Sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.
“To live is Christ” is a seal. A possession. An unbreakable presence. God himself is the guarantee of our salvation. Not a creed and not a deed.
September 22, 2020. Day 266: Inheritance.
“To live is Christ” means that what is awaiting us is a glorious inheritance of all things. All that is Christ’s he will share with us. But even more glorious than the WHAT is the WHO. God our savior will finally receive his inheritance – you. Me. Us.
