“To live is Christ” is to live in this firmness of faith. Faith in Christ’s work for us that will produce his work in us until the day of its completion.
October 19, 2020. Day 293: In him…through him and for him.
“To live is Christ” joins our lives to his in perfect harmony with all creation and our Creator.
October 18, 2020. Day 292: He is the image of the invisible God.
“To live is Christ” is to be this image of the Image. The receiver and reflector of the grace, power, love, and wisdom of God that is Christ Jesus our Lord.
October 17, 2020. Day 291: Delivered from the domain of darkness.
“To live is Christ” means there’s nothing left to earn. Nothing left to do. No performance left to give. No right to make wrong. No guilt to overcome. No history to delete. Nothing to add-on. No more “ands” to get done today. Just Jesus. Just his love and forgiveness. Now that’s deliverance.
October 16, 2020. Day 290: Wisdom and understanding.
Being filled with the knowledge of God’s will (Christ-likeness) and being instinctively controlled by the wisdom and understanding of God (Christ himself) is faith. It is “to live is Christ.”
October 15, 2020. Day 289: I can do all things through him.
When we forget about Jesus we lose all contentment. But when we remember all that is ours IN HIM, nothing will be able to steal our contentment away. Nothing. We will worship in all things. We will trust in all things. And all things will become “to live is Christ.”
