Has our enemy surrounded you? Has he besieged your hope, slowly starving it to death? Maybe try a prayer of faith like Hezekiah’s.
Learning to live by the indwelling life of Christ.

“To live is Christ” means that we, like Mary, have Christ in us. And we, like Mary, are on a journey of faith, dependence, and commitment. May our songs this Christmas magnify the Lord, declaring the salvation of God in Christ his son. Amen.
Stand. Not fight. Just stand. Stand and trust. Stand and praise. Stand and watch God apply the salvation of Christ to your specific fears. Stand strong in the Lord Jesus and in the power of his might as you wait for his return in victory.
“To live is Christ” means we have the mighty rushing wind of God’s Spirit in us.
God hasn’t left us alone in our waiting for the advent of Christ. He has left us with his inspired word.
“To live is Christ” allows us to live this blameless life. No more blame means no more blame shifting. No more excuses or cover ups. Just perfect love allowing us to both take responsibility for our lives, and, at the same time to turn our lives over to Jesus.
