Now, to live is Christ, has left us free from the fear of death’s great silencing. Free to weep in faith. Free to flood the bed with tears of the hope of heaven. Free to pray to a God who always accepts our brokenness. For he was broken for us.

To live is Christ, to live as his covenant king or queen, is to wake up each morning and prepare yourself for spiritual battle, trusting that your cause is just, for it is the cause of Christ. The cause of his love and salvation.

One thing we can know for sure as we lay on our beds at night and all the stresses of the day lay in a pile next to us is that Christ is with us. The shining light of his presence illuminates our hearts. No fear, no shame, no anger can darken his light of love. It is forever. It is no matter what. It is to live is Christ.
