TLIC Daily. Day 102. April 12: The Lord said, “Do you do well to be angry?”
“To live is Christ” means that now Christ’s loving anger is fueling our love for others. His selfless anger aimed at all that would destroy this world, and enslave others in sin. His selfless love that would make us angry enough to die, even for Nineveh.
TLIC Daily. Day 51: February 20: Inside the tent.
“To live is Christ” has made us, God’s church, the tent of David. God’s presence now dwelling in us and through us.
TLIC Daily. Day 44. February 13: If…Then.
“To live is Christ” has given us a whole new operating system. The If-Then that would have crushed us is now made obsolete by the Because-Therefore of our union with Christ.
TLIC Daily. Day 40. February 9: Look at the bronze serpent and live.
Do you want to have more faith? Then look at Christ more and your faith less. Turn your eyes upon Jesus. See his holiness colliding with your sin on the cross. Keep looking. Never stop. Move your gaze from yourself to the grace displayed on that pole. Now your living by faith. Now “to live is Christ.”
December 30, 2020. Day 365: Come Lord Jesus!
May we today and every day pray, “Come Lord Jesus!”, while we remember that our Lord Jesus has already come into our hearts. Let’s live as if we are already there. Let’s live as if “to live is Christ.”
