To live is Christ is to come and pray boldly before the throne of grace. Never pleading for the unknown but claiming the promises of Christ in us.

TLIC Psalms. July 13. Outpoured Blood.
To live is Christ is to live in this dual knowledge of God’s avenging and atoning. Christ alone accomplishes both. Where does this leave the Christian? But we your people, the sheep of your pasture, will give thanks to you forever; from generation to generation we will recount your praise.
TLIC Psalms. July 12. Do Not Remember.
To live is Christ is to remember that God does not remember. He does not count our sin against us. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus! And yet there is a love that lowers us further still until all that remains is the love of Christ.
TLIC Psalms. July 11. He Shepherded Them.
To live is Christ embraces the eternal grace of God, the calling of his people to holiness, not because of our works, but in spite of them. The more we can embrace this great grace the more we will allow ourselves to be guided by his heart and his hand.
TLIC Psalms. July 10. Shiloh.
To live is Christ is Zion not Shiloh. The ark is missing and that’s OK. The rebellious spirit of Hophni and Phinehas has died and been replaced in us by the spirit of Christ.
TLIC Psalms. July 9. Their Idols.
To live is Christ is a life of identifying and rooting out our idols, our functional saviors, until only hope in Christ remains. Until we decide to take on this task of daily repentance we will never know ourselves, nor will we trust our position in Christ.
