Truly to live is Christ means that we are to bless and curse not. And this is possible as we more and more see ourselves as the enemy of God deserving this imprecation and Jesus as the one who became this imprecation for us – his days were few. He was cut off. He was seized, pitiless, and blotted out. For us.

To live is Christ is to attend to these things. To be aware of and meditate upon every spiritual blessing in Christ. To be glad in your present hope and future home.
To live is Christ means recognizing just how little control you have over your life. Just as you have no control over hurricanes, winds, and waves, you also have no ability to tame the world around you. But it also means thanking the Lord for his steadfast love that indwells your heart, bringing peace with every wave.
Healing may be long and hard, but to live is Christ means that the journey is not only possible, but it has already been accomplished by Christ our Savior so that even if we don’t find complete healing from our sin’s consequences on this side of the grave, we will definitely find it on the other side.
