But when Grace is the lover of your soul, then you have been taught “to live is Christ.”
Learning to live by the indwelling life of Christ.
But when Grace is the lover of your soul, then you have been taught “to live is Christ.”
Now we have found the real joy of godliness + contentment. The peace of trusting our Heavenly Father in all things and allowing our lives to reflect his own. The security of needing nothing while having everything. Now we can live every day in the great gain of “to live is Christ.”
Your example of faith in Jesus might just carry someone further along into “to live is Christ.”
We train for godliness by believing in the promises of our future hope in the living God, and then by making our present life look like our life to come.
“To live is Christ” means no more being held hostage by our doubts of God’s love. The man Christ Jesus has opened the way to the Father forever. No more resentment, bitterness, self-righteousness, or self-loathing. Just trusting that our lives are found in the man who has made a way for all mankind.
The growing and progressing Christian knows that life only comes out of death and defeat. Trusting the Spirit to minister the death of the old and the life of the new in us as we choose more and more to trust in “to live is Christ.”
