“To live is Christ” means you have been loved by God when you were still the enemy of God. Praise him! Because you are loved by God, your heart has everything it needs to love others, even enemies.

“To live is Christ” is not to find our way to these blessed attributes of Jesus. It is to find them IN Jesus. In Christ we are the poor in Spirit who ARE blessed in him.

“To live is Christ” is life in the kingdom of God that only comes through repentance and belief. And that is good news! No more trying to figure out the Christian life. No more “just tell me what to do.” Instead, just tell me what Christ has already done. That’s all we need to know.

“To live is Christ” means we are God’s beloved children, who are never alone, even when we face grueling temptation, because Jesus, our brother and champion faced grueling temptation alone in our place, and won.

“To live is Christ” means we have no “daddy issues.” Hear the Father speaking to your heart today as he did to Jesus – You are the son, you are the daughter, who pleases me, and I will love you forever.
