“To live is Christ” offers us the hard path of Jesus’ own life and righteousness, and the narrow gate of his grace and forgiveness. Which gate will you walk through today? Which road will you choose to travel?
“To live is Christ” is to seek God’s kingdom and to find it in your union with Christ. Put anything else above this and you’ll lose it all. But place Christ and his free grace first, and all these things will be added unto you.
“To live is Christ” means going to God as our dad, the good and glorious father who provides, pardons, and protects his children along every step of the Way.
“To live is Christ” gives you everything your heart needs to love. Even those who will never love you back. Even those who persecute you. Even an enemy.
“To live is Christ” means you have been loved by God when you were still the enemy of God. Praise him!
“To live is Christ” is not to find our way to these blessed attributes of Jesus. It is to find them IN Jesus. In Christ we are blessed in him. Blessed through the repentance and faith that places us into the kingdom of God as citizens of heaven, and co-heirs with Christ.
