To live is Christ is to live honestly before God in both praise and lament, boast and complaint, for the Christ in us knows how to turn our defeat into his victory.

To live is Christ takes us by faith into the wilderness of the soul where our desires are splayed out beside the dried up river beds of this existence. And it is there that hope in God through Christ will quench our every thirst once again.

To live is Christ means his future is ours. His triumph is ours. His blessing is ours. His eternity is ours. Ours to share from everlasting to everlasting. And when we trust completely in this shared future with Christ we can then turn repayment of our betrayers over to him alone, knowing that his vengeance over our enemies allows for our forgiveness of the same.
